This beautiful board was commissioned by Crispin Conroy, one of Australia's ambassadors to Peru. He loved to ride the Peruvian waves so much that, whenever he had the opportunity, he would come to surf in Lima.

Almost 15 years later, Crispin's strong bond to the Peruvian sea is still intact.

Piccolo Clemente, the creative mind behind the board, is a three-time Peruvian longboard champion and Pan American Games gold medal winner.

One month ago, we commemorated Australia Day on the Magic Water Circuit!

With a show of light and colour, we share with our Peruvian friends all that makes us proud of our great nation, but we also reflect on our past and present, to build a future in harmony and union.
